be able and willing to spend time and money necessary
to provide training, medical treatment, and proper care
You
will be required to fill out an adoption
application and answer all the questions asked, and
then you will meet with an adoption counselor.
Adoption
Philosophy
Our
concern for our animals is that they go to a permanent home
where they will be well cared for their ENTIRE life. To
accomplish this goal, we try to match each dog and cat to
a suitable owner. If we feel you are incompatible with a
certain animal you are interested in adopting, we retain
the option to deny the application. Dog & Kitty City
can refuse to re-home an animal without giving reason and
cannot accept responsibility for temperament or behavior
of any animal after re-homing, although we will support
you with any problems that may arise.
The
animals are the property of Dog & Kitty City and are
re-homed at our discretion. If you cannot keep your new
pet for any reason, we expect you to return the animal to
Dog & Kitty City.
