Jasper is a Yellow Lab found with one of his buddies running in the streets of Dallas. Both were brought to our shelter to recover from being homeless for several weeks, possibly months. After waiting at the shelter for two years, Jasper finally went to his new home two months ago. They report that, 'He is such a loving dog, most receptive to love and affection that in just a few days, he came out of his shell. It seemed like he had been looking for a friend.

Jasper is a smart dog who in a matter of weeks learned to sit, stay, lie down, roll over both indoors and outside around people. He loves to sit on the couch with you, but is happy in his bed as well.

To Jasper's great misfortune, Justin developed allergies to dogs. It was with a heavy heart that Justin's best friend was returned to the shelter.

Hopefully someone will open their home to this wonderful dog. He deserves a loving family again and a new life. Jasper has so much affection to give.
